Her passion for travelling and immersing herself in different cultures transferred and intensified into studying various traditions of bodywork and healing therapies.
A deeper journey into bodywork therapies began in Guatemala 4 years ago and led to more intensive, diverse studies of various traditional energy healing techniques. Therese qualified in different modalities of massage in prestigious massage schools in London, UK, and Bali, Indonesia, to the learning from the most profound teachers touch/healing therapists and clients themselves.
Thereses speciality service offers to tailor each massage to your particular needs at that moment in time - incorporating techniques from either Holistic/Swedish, Deep Tissue, Indian Head, Balinese Hot Stones, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (medical or anti-cellulite) and Sports massage (or East/West pregnancy massage). Reiki is the underlying energetic base for all bodywork therapies and can be requested as an intensive individual therapy.
Therese says: As our bodies are ever changing and responding to our environmental & personal stress input, so will each subsequent treatment, working to release muscle tension in the usual stress zones as well as releasing from your body any issues it needs at that moment in time. Each treatment will then build again and again on what you find to be the most effective and relaxing techniques.

Hidden Gems are always a delight to uncover, especially when they are a pampering treatment like no other. I have reviewed many massages since becoming a journalist and in all that time, I can safely say that none has been as good as Therese Synnott. Being a knotted and stressed individual, I found nothing would loosen my muscles and indeed cure me of mild discomfort when trying to sleep. Therese however found the spots and kneaded away until the knots began to dissipate. With a courteous nature (not at all being offended if you ask the pressure to be lessened) Therese applied the deep tissue massage with finesse, her arms and hands feeling like a machine, with such swift movements it was unbelievable to think her diminutive frame was creating this kind of sensation. Hot stones and Reiki included made the whole experience a joy to receive on an exceptionally cold, wintry day.
