In today’s hectic lifestyle people don’t always have time to get to the driving range and course to practice their golf. This in mind Alex has devised numerous indoor and garden based drills to help make significant improvements to their game.

Alex Saary, Golf Guru

Alex grew up in West London and started to play golf at his local club at the age of 7.  Before long he was completely hooked, and felt that the game represented the ultimate sporting challenge…

As he began to reach a relatively high skill level Alex discovered he had a passion and flare for helping others to understand the game.  He has spent the last 15 years with one mission: to become the best coach he can possibly be.

Alex says:  “I love Golf for three reasons:”

1) Its a game with an incredible level of precision and skill.  Learning to swing a golf club is really an art form that you can spend a life time trying to master.   Learning an art form such as golf can teach you so much about awareness and control of the body and the mind.

2)  Learning to play golf can teach you so many life skills such as patience, honour, philosophy, integrity, and more than anything it gives you self-knowledge about how you function as a human being.

3)  Playing golf is a social game and allows you to meet a wide variety of people and interact with them in a fun and challenging environment.  The handicapping system also allows all levels of amateur and professional players to compete on a level basis.  No other game in the world can do this as well!

About his own Gurus:  “My sporting hero’s in general are Lance Armstrong for his shear bravery, fighting spirit and physical achievements; and Muhammad Ali for simply being one of the greatest athletes and humans of all time.  He stood up for what he believed in more than any other human in history.  My golfing hero is Ben Hogan (1912-97) for his strength and resilience to come back from a near fatal car crash to become one of the greatest players of all time.
